The girls loved their white dresses.

Ava had a brand new one from Nona Dinka.

And Mila had Ava’s hand me down from Mila’s baptism a couple years ago.

The girls begged for colored bubbles when we were at Target the other day.

Pink for Ava and purple for Mila.

But when the bubbles drip, they both look red instead of pink and purple.

Like drops of blood every where. All over the sidewalk. All over the girls.
